Would highly recommend this driving school, especially Dan Evans. Started lessons 5months ago, and passed 1st time today with only 1 Minor Fault. I honestly wouldn’t have been able to do it without having Dan there teaching me. It was an absolute pleasure being taught by him. His character, and personality is just great. The laughs we had whilst on lessons I’ll never forget, but I still learnt ever so much each and every lesson. He has great patience, understanding, and puts you at ease right from the get-go. It’s bitter sweet now I’ve passed because I will miss our banter and the enjoyment each lesson gave me. He believed in me when I didn’t even believe in myself. I genuinely would recommend Dan and this driving school to everyone, I never had any problems, it’s priced really well, and I’m just pleased I got so lucky with finding an amazing driving school and Driving instructor straight away. My instructor Dan was very good he was able to break some bad habits I picked up with a previous instructor and put me at ease when driving. He’s a very knowledgeable instructor and he’s able to explain things very easily. He was very quick at getting me through my lesson and making sure I was test ready. I passed my test first time and am very grateful to Dan and would recommend him to anyone.

Absolutely could not fault 1st Driving School and especially Dan Evans (my instructor) for helping me gain the skills and knowledge to ensure that I drive to a safe and high standard. It was incredibly easy to start learning, just by applying on the website and they allocated an instructor based on my location - they were friendly on the phone and told me how to go about applying quickly and efficiently. Dan was excellent at teaching and is very patient and friendly - helping me by correcting any issues I had quickly and effectively. Dan allowed me to be more confident when behind the wheel and scheduled our times for lessons based on my busy work schedule and was able to adapt and change times if/when needed. The app (TotalDrive) that was used meant I was able to see my progress and understand the points that I needed to improve on and also allowed me to see when my next lessons were, how many hours I had completed and how many credits I had. This combined allowed me to pass my driving test first time with only 3 minor faults and will aid me in driving to a high standard for the foreseeable future. Dan Evans taught my son to drive. While I cannot comment on his ability to teach I can say how very accommodating he was when it came to arranging lessons on a Saturday after my son had gone to Uni so he could continue with the same teacher until his test. The whole experience has been elongated due to Covid and we would like to thank Dan for helping Sam through it.

Great company.. Great instructor. 1st Driving put me in contact with Dan one of their instructors and I began my journey to passing my driving test. Dan was always reliable, a great teacher and gave me all the confidence and skills to pass my practical driving test. You can easily select your own instructor, I chose Dan Evans. What a great guy, easy to get on with, makes you laugh but more importantly he teaches to a high level so not only are you ready for the test but instantly able to tackle any road without feeling nervous or hesitant. Dan is THE MAN! I started as a very nervous driver. Having done 20+ hours with 2 driving instructors in country small road driving. They just didn’t help my learning, then I was recommended Dan. And THANK GOD! I honestly think I’d still be learning now. I started with Dan in May in Nottingham having never entered a city road, major roundabout and very little A road driving. Considering I couldn't even look at a roundabout I passed 1st time end of Oct, confidently. Thank you so much Dan for being straight talking and patient. HIGHLY RECOMMEND xxxxx

Simply wonderful! A big thanks to Dan Evans for his natural and supportive approach across all of my driving lessons. I can openly admit that learning to drive was the biggest challenge I have ever faced and he helped me get through all of it. There were some tricky times but Dan used all of his skills to get me across the 'finish line'. Not to mention we had a good laugh along the way. First time pass with Dan Evans! If you are looking for a fun, patient and professional instructor, I can’t recommend Dan enough! I had a terrible first experience with another driving instructor but Dan was able to boost my confidence and he made me comfortable behind the wheel. He coached me all the way through to the test and, despite the nerves, I passed first time! Merci Dan

Absolutley amazing, 10/10 stars all round. Completed my driving test and passed it, I only had 2 minor faults. Dan was brilliant showing me and telling me how to get to know the car inside and out, hes a guy which you can have a good laugh with as you drive to make you feel more relaxed. Overal I would recommend if you are gonna learn to drive a car then go to Dan he has taken me through each step while making sure I am safe on the roads.

Dan is a great instructor, he is definitely someone I'd recommend to anyone that wants to start driving. It has been a great experience learning to drive in general but has been even better with his help. It's crazy to think that I had only had 15 hours worth of lessons and passed first time. I really appreciate it, thank you very much.

I had previously taken 2 tests and failed and so decided to try out an instructor in Nottingham. I had 11 hours of driving lessons with Daniel Evans and I can't recommend him more. He's very clear with instructions and makes you feel relaxed when learning to drive. After having lessons with Dan I passed my test with ease. You won't regret having lessons with Dan that's for sure.

If you're in Nottingham and looking for a driving instructor I couldn't recommend Dan Evans more. Thanks to his patience and persistence I passed my test 1st time around today and I don't think I could've done it without such an amazing instructor. Would just like to thank Dan for everything!
