I can’t thank Dave enough for all his help and support! I passed my 70-minute extended driving test today at Chilwell test centre and it wouldn’t have been possible without his patience, encouragement, and expert guidance. From the very first lesson, Dave made me feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel. He has a great way of explaining things clearly and calmly. His lessons were always well-structured, focused on what I needed to improve, and full of practical tips that made a huge difference on test day. I have been learning to drive for 5 years on and off. 3 fails. Not being able to drive became a source of embarrassment for me, I became more anxious the longer I didn’t pass. BUT I passed first time with Faizah. When I met Faizah, I was instantly at ease. She is so warm and compassionate which made such a difference. She made me actually enjoy lessons which I never thought I’d say. She teaches in a calm way, ensuring to teach you in a way that suits you. She is an incredibly calming presence. She believed in me which made me believe in myself, I will never forget you Faizah. This will change my life for the better!! I can’t recommend her enough.

Sandor (Alex) at 1st Driving School has been a fantastic instructor from the get go, very knowledgeable and professional. I had given driving lessons a go previously in 2021 but my then instructor put me off carrying on. Essentially having to start again from scratch in June last year, Sandor encouraged me every step of the way, no matter how frustrated I got in the early days. Fast forward to now and I’ve passed first time with one minor. Trust the process, trust Sandor and trust 1st Driving School.

My driving instructor was Kevin and he was great. Did manual lessons for a few months and passed first time with only 6 minors! Definitely recommend.

My instructor Andrew Kerr was a great help with me passing from not knowing anything about driving to being able to pass my test with sharing all of his knowledge he has and he was really easy to talk to and answered any questions i had and made me feel really comfortable and enjoyed all the lessons that I had, I would highly recommend Andy to anyone who is learning to drive.
