He was patient and let me move at my own pace and was really accommodating to days I was available to do classes. I would definitely recommend learning with Riff and 1st Driving School offer a £390 for 10hrs which is great!

I honestly never thought I’d drive a car but Eric has made that dream come true. Eric is very patient, if you make a mistake, he explains everything in detail. When you get overwhelmed he would always let you pull over to have a breather and talk about what is going on. He teaches all the ins & outs very detailed. He is very friendly. I’d 110% recommend Eric! He was also always on time for my lessons. Thank you for teaching me these live skills and helping me gain freedom.

Thanks to Keith for taking me on when no other instructor would. My exam date was very close and due to personal reasons was unable to get an instructor early. Keith was informative, helpful and knowledgeable. He gave much support and helped build my confidence. I’m grateful for his support, as I passed on the first go in a very short space of time. My driving instructor was Mo and he was exceptional! He was really easy going and fun to be with. He explained everything smoothly from doing cockpit checks, how to properly enter and exit a roundabout, to executing a manoeuvre properly. He even has pictures to show you and videos to watch as homework. I am really impressed with how spot on he is with details, big or small. During our mock tests he suddenly became very strict (though he feels guilty about it and then lightens the mood up!) but then I appreciate everything he did as he said he only wasn't aiming for me to pass the test but also to make me a safe driver. I highly recommend Mo and this driving school, such a blessing I found them. It definitely is worth your time and money! Oh I forgot to mention, I passed my driving test on the first take. Thank you ever so much!

Just passed my manual driving test first time with only one minor! I had a licence from Uruguay (South America) before but needed to get my UK licence and learn how to navigate UK roads, and Mo from 1st Driving School was brilliant. He's really supportive and patient. He listened when I got frustrated and kept helping me improve until things finally clicked. As I got better, he did switch to a bit of a 'tough love' approach. I found it a bit hard at the time, but looking back, I think it really helped stop me from making silly mistakes. It was definitely in my best interest, and in the end, it paid off: I passed first time, and couldn't be happier! I also feel like I’m a safer driver now, so big thanks to Mo and to 1st Driving School. Would definitely recommend!

Ash was a really good instructor. He was polite and caring while instructing and took a person centred approach. He was very professional: coming on time for our lessons, letting me drive without losing any of my lesson time, being flexible where possible but at the same being assertive where required. I enjoyed my driving lessons and would highly recommend. 1st Driving School also showed sincere attempts to support their students. I contacted them on a weekend expecting not to hear back until Monday. However, they responded within a couple of minutes and immediately got me in touch with my driving instructor Ash. The setup was quiet simple. I felt reassured during our interactions and they kept their promises until the end. Fortunately, I have now passed my test and hope this review helps people to take the right choice in finding a driving school. All the best!

I’m absolutely thrilled to share that I recently passed my driving test first time! I couldn’t have done it without my brilliant instructor, Sandor. He is truly an outstanding teacher. From the very first lesson Sandor made sure we made steady progress. Thanks to his clear guidance and support, I was driving with confidence in no time. He prepared me so thoroughly for the test that when the day came, I felt calm, capable, and ready—and I passed on my first attempt. What really sets Sandor apart is his patience and dedication. He never made me feel rushed and was always willing to go over things as many times as I needed. His demonstrations made everything click, and he had an amazing ability to bring out the best in me without ever making the lessons feel overwhelming.
