I have been learning to drive for 5 years on and off. 3 fails. Not being able to drive became a source of embarrassment for me, I became more anxious the longer I didn’t pass. BUT I passed first time with Faizah. When I met Faizah, I was instantly at ease. She is so warm and compassionate which made such a difference. She made me actually enjoy lessons which I never thought I’d say. She teaches in a calm way, ensuring to teach you in a way that suits you. She is an incredibly calming presence. She believed in me which made me believe in myself, I will never forget you Faizah. This will change my life for the better!! I can’t recommend her enough.

Mohammed is very patient and supportive. I am very impressed with his method of teaching, very easy to understand. Overall I am glad I passed on first attempt.

Sandor (Alex) at 1st Driving School has been a fantastic instructor from the get go, very knowledgeable and professional. I had given driving lessons a go previously in 2021 but my then instructor put me off carrying on. Essentially having to start again from scratch in June last year, Sandor encouraged me every step of the way, no matter how frustrated I got in the early days. Fast forward to now and I’ve passed first time with one minor. Trust the process, trust Sandor and trust 1st Driving School.

My driving instructor was Kevin and he was great. Did manual lessons for a few months and passed first time with only 6 minors! Definitely recommend.

My instructor Andrew Kerr was a great help with me passing from not knowing anything about driving to being able to pass my test with sharing all of his knowledge he has and he was really easy to talk to and answered any questions i had and made me feel really comfortable and enjoyed all the lessons that I had, I would highly recommend Andy to anyone who is learning to drive.

I passed first time with Faizah last week! She is an amazing instructor, who not only teaches you the rules of the road and how to drive with both confidence and clarity but also makes you feel comfortable. She was so easy to get along with and created a space where I knew I could make mistakes and ask questions without feeling any judgement. I had a great experience learning to drive with Gavin Davis at 1st Driving School. Gav was encouraging, communicative and very knowledgeable, and I passed my test first time.

A big thank you to my driving instructor, Keith Fok! I wasn’t always the most consistent learner, but Keith never lost patience with me. He always found different ways to explain and guide, and most importantly, he helped me build up my confidence in driving. With his rich knowledge and experience, I was able to pass my test on the very first attempt. I’m truly grateful for his guidance — and even happier that we’ve now become friends beyond the lessons.

Gavin was my instructor. He is an amazing instructor very kind, patient, supportive and makes you feel very comfortable.

I had been struggling with my driving test for two years and failed five times with my previous instructor. I’m so glad I decided to change instructors and was very lucky to find Julian Barker. With just 10 hours of lessons from him, I passed my driving test with only two minor faults! Julian is a very professional, patient, and gentle instructor. His teaching style is clear, structured, and highly effective. He uses reference points in his car and even a small whiteboard to demonstrate driving techniques, which really helped me understand and correct the bad habits I had developed before. Julian truly knows how to teach, and I am extremely grateful for his guidance and support. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an excellent driving instructor!

Kev took me on when I just failed a test and really helped me to feel confident with my driving. And through all of the ups and downs that we had leading to the test, I finally was able to get it done! I did my classes with Riff (Rafhat), really great in helping me learn and understand how to drive safely, not just to pass the test but daily driving to. He was patient and let me move at my own pace and was really accommodating to days I was available to do classes. I would definitely recommend learning with Riff and 1st Driving School offer a £390 for 10hrs which is great!

I honestly never thought I’d drive a car but Eric has made that dream come true. Eric is very patient, if you make a mistake, he explains everything in detail. When you get overwhelmed he would always let you pull over to have a breather and talk about what is going on. He teaches all the ins & outs very detailed. He is very friendly. I’d 110% recommend Eric! He was also always on time for my lessons. Thank you for teaching me these live skills and helping me gain freedom.
