I have had a few driving instructors whilst learning to drive and Dan at 1st Driving School has definitely been the best! Super friendly and made me feel comfortable instantly! I have generally been a very nervous driver but Dan really helped me and I wouldn’t have passed without him!

I passed my theory and practical first time with the instructor Andy. He was very calm and taught me a lot in such a small amount of time. I had no prior driving knowledge but soon picked it up as well as my confidence in driving within the first two weeks. Andy would always make sure I perfected the routes, manoeuvres before starting something new. Any time I made a mistake, we would re-do it until there was no longer any mistakes and anything I did positive, he would always make sure to point out what I did in order to reassure me that I was actually learning what I was paying for.

Kev is a fantastic instructor. Perfectly tailored lessons to my needs and got me through my test really fast.

My driving instructor was Kevin, who was very friendly and professional and offered reasonable prices. Never cancelled a lesson and helped me pass my test first time.

I could not recommend Steve more as a driving instructor! He is really patient and willing to go over anything you don’t understand to help! He helped me to build up my confidence while driving and was adaptable with my demanding work and uni schedule.

Sandor was amazing at teaching me to drive. Passed my test within 5 months of lessons with no prior experience and is very patient! Thank you!

I passed first time and I think I couldn't make it without his passionate and comprehensive teaching. He is very professional and kind. He covers my driving weaknesses with lots of practice and knowledge which eventually turned into my strength. Highly recommended and deserved to be given more than 5 stars!

Stuart Nelson is without a doubt the best driving instructor to be taught by, calm, collected and overall very nice bloke to be around. He will never shout at you for your mistakes, will only correct you in the proper way which is most beneficial for your learning and preparation for your test. Wouldn’t have chosen anyone else but him and can safely say every one of my driving lessons over the past 11 months has been more than a pleasure, thank you.

Had an incredible experience with 1st Driving School, my instructor Faizah was the best I could’ve asked for. She was patient, friendly, and an all round amazing teacher who was so able to adjust the way she taught to help me achieve this pass. I couldn't have done it without her! I would choose 1st Driving School and Faizah again in a heartbeat.

After a pretty disappointing experience with a previous driving school, where I felt like I was spending more time parked than actually driving. I was really unsure about continuing my lessons. I recently passed my test whilst using 1st Driving School and my instructor was Stuart. He was amazing, cracking some amazing jokes and loves to hold a great conversation. Stuart is eager to get you driving on your first lesson which i found amazing. With just about 5 months of being with him I passed my test first time! Stuart is always there to support you in every way, including videos to assist you with driving around and he’s happy to go the extra mile to give you a little homework (which helped me massively). If I could go back 5 months and have Stuart teaching me again I would do it, the bond that you will create with him is like no other. Overall Stuart is an amazing teacher, he’s never snaps at you for doing something wrong instead he teaches you right from wrong, he’s an amazing man, very talented, funny, exciting and comforting whilst driving around tricky area. I looked forward to every lesson with him and i’m very thankful for everything he did for me.

I want to say a massive thank you to Andy for getting me to the point where I passed my test first time! Andy made the lessons so relaxed and fun and really helped my confidence. There was no pressure on how fast you learn and builds the lessons around you. Would recommend him to anyone.
