Stuart Nelson is without a doubt the best driving instructor to be taught by, calm, collected and overall very nice bloke to be around. He will never shout at you for your mistakes, will only correct you in the proper way which is most beneficial for your learning and preparation for your test. Wouldn’t have chosen anyone else but him and can safely say every one of my driving lessons over the past 11 months has been more than a pleasure, thank you.

Had an incredible experience with 1st Driving School, my instructor Faizah was the best I could’ve asked for. She was patient, friendly, and an all round amazing teacher who was so able to adjust the way she taught to help me achieve this pass. I couldn't have done it without her! I would choose 1st Driving School and Faizah again in a heartbeat.

After a pretty disappointing experience with a previous driving school, where I felt like I was spending more time parked than actually driving. I was really unsure about continuing my lessons. Andy was a great driving instructor. Super friendly and I always felt comfortable and enjoyed our lessons each week. I was really well prepared for my test and the reason I passed is owed entirely to his teaching. I would recommend to anyone wanting to learn how to drive. I recently passed my test whilst using 1st Driving School and my instructor was Stuart. He was amazing, cracking some amazing jokes and loves to hold a great conversation. Stuart is eager to get you driving on your first lesson which i found amazing. With just about 5 months of being with him I passed my test first time! Stuart is always there to support you in every way, including videos to assist you with driving around and he’s happy to go the extra mile to give you a little homework (which helped me massively). If I could go back 5 months and have Stuart teaching me again I would do it, the bond that you will create with him is like no other. Overall Stuart is an amazing teacher, he’s never snaps at you for doing something wrong instead he teaches you right from wrong, he’s an amazing man, very talented, funny, exciting and comforting whilst driving around tricky area. I looked forward to every lesson with him and i’m very thankful for everything he did for me.

I want to say a massive thank you to Andy for getting me to the point where I passed my test first time! Andy made the lessons so relaxed and fun and really helped my confidence. There was no pressure on how fast you learn and builds the lessons around you. Would recommend him to anyone.

Julian Barker is an exceptional driving instructor. He was extremely patient throughout our lessons and provided thorough, constructive feedback that helped me understand my mistakes and improve. Steve was THE BEST! He helped me pass my driving test first time, which was amazing. I was always having a go at him because I couldn’t find a test (even though it wasn’t his fault) and he always put up with me and made me feel better.Driving lessons with Steve were never stressful or sad like I hear others are, but mine was always just funny and relaxing! He’s the best around AND I couldn’t thank him enough.

The best choice ever, was going with 1st Driving School. The instructor they allocated me with was Kamal. Kamal is a an excellent teacher. Very calm, down to earth and soo easy to get along with. I have had 3 other instructors before Kamal (from two different companies) that just wasn’t right for me but I’m glad that I finally found the correct instructor to teach me how to drive as I PASSED my test the FIRST time. I would highly recommend asking 1st Driving School if Kamal works within your catchment area… Anyone can pass their driving test, you just need to have confidence in yourself and the correct instructor!

Kamal my instructor, was great. He pushed me but always within my limits and was focused on how we spent our lessons which helped me monitor my progress. Passed my practical today on my second attempt. Would highly recommend this company and Kamal.

Couldn't recommend Julian barker enough! I went to him after having a bad experience with somebody else and he put me at ease straight away and built my confidence back each lesson. Brilliant teacher.
