I recently passed my driving test after taking lessons with Kev for just over a year. I am very glad I chose to learn driving with him, he made the whole experience very pleasant , while also being a very good driving instructor. He always had a positive attitude, was understanding and calm and very clearly experienced. Besides that he is also very easy to talk to, so that every lesson was enjoyable. I can’t recommend Kev enough as a driving instructor. After a negative experience with a previous instructor and failing two tests, I became a very anxious driver and even took a two-year break from lessons. From the very first lesson, Kev was patient, understanding, and incredibly encouraging, helping me rebuild my confidence almost immediately. Throughout my lessons, Kev created a calm and supportive environment and made sure I gained experience in a variety of driving situations, including city driving, A roads, and countryside routes. This helped me feel fully prepared and confident behind the wheel. Thanks to Kev, I passed first time after only six months of lessons with just two minors. More importantly, I felt genuinely confident driving independently straight afterwards. If you struggle with anxiety or confidence when learning to drive, I would highly recommend Kev — he made something that once felt impossible feel completely achievable.

Did my lessons with Kev and have to say he’s amazing. Really chill, patient and taught me everything there is to know about driving. After some research on which driving school to go for, reviews led me to 1st Driving School Ltd. I had the honour to be taught by Kevin. He wasn’t just an instructor, he was an instructor that cared and genuinely wanted you to pass. He tailors the lessons towards who you are, ensuring your upmost confidence and comfort. He even has tissues in his drawer for when nasty drivers honks at you when you’ve stalled the car for 1 minute, resulting you to cry (happened several times). Quality of the tissue is questionable but quality of this legend of an instructor, beats any other instructor across Britain. Passed first time with 3 minors. Thanks for changing my life Kev!
